Constant Pressure Water Well System

Franklin Electric’s constant pressure systems use variable frequency drive technology, changing the speed of the pump to meet the demand for water while keeping the pressure constant throughout the system.  The pressure sensor detects water system pressure, sending a signal to the controller (SubDrive or MonoDrive) to regulate the speed of the pump.

When water demand increases, pump speed increases.  When water demand decreases, pump speed decreases.  The pump only runs as much as is necessary to meet demand and maintain pressure.  This type of system does not require a large tank for storage, so smaller and lighter tanks can be used in a system that is often mounted on the wall, up off the floor, making more room for storage.  Click here for more info on tank sizing.
